The awards ceremony will take place on the 30<sup>th<\/sup> June at the Mansion House in Dublin. These nominations are in recognition of the significant efforts across Wisetek to ensure sustainable practices and the integration of the circular economy into our operations.<\/p>\n<p>Wisetek\u2019s ongoing work in the area of IT Asset Disposition, as well as our Zero-Landfill Policy that reduces needless e-waste and instead reuses or recycles redundant IT assets, formed the basis of these nominations. The nominations also recognise our work in launching our new e-commerce site, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wisetekstore.com\">Wisetek Store<\/a>, which facilitates the sale of high-quality and sustainable refurbished IT devices to consumers.<\/p>\n<p>Wisetek\u2019s social and charitable initiatives were also a key reason for these nominations. This includes our work to assemble ventilators for the Irish healthcare system during the Covid-19 pandemic, our work with <a href=\"https:\/\/wisetek.net\/news\/wisetek-and-tech2schools-facilitate-donation-of-80-laptops-to-irish-schools\/\">Tech2Schools<\/a> to supply laptops to primary schools, our donation of batteries to the Deng Forest Community in Thailand, our partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/wisetek.net\/news\/wisetek-and-trees-on-the-land-partner-to-plant-5000-trees\/\">Trees on the Land<\/a>, and our internal e-waste collection initiatives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean Sheehan, CEO of Wisetek<\/strong>, said: \u201c<em>I would like to sincerely thank all of our colleagues for their hard work in ensuring that our Environmental, Social and Governance practices and initiatives are planned and executed to such a high standard.
