Wisetek achieves Platinum Standard at Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Awards for eight consecutive year
Wisetek is proud to announce it has yet again requalified for the Platinum Standard at Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Awards 2023, which are organised by Deloitte Ireland in association with the Bank of Ireland. This is the eight year in a row that Wisetek has secured the Platinum Standard at the awards and was one of only five companies to be awarded the Platinum Standard. As a global leader in advanced IT asset disposition (ITAD), data destruction, technology reuse, and manufacturing services it is fantastic to show the consistency of our efforts to be recognised year in year out for this standard.
The awards recognise outstanding organisational success and achievement within Irish companies. The Platinum Standard is the highest level of recognition a company can receive at the awards.
This prestigious award follows a rigorous and independent assessment of Wisetek’s management abilities and practices across the four areas of strategy, capability and innovation, culture and Commitment, and governance and financial performance. The company achieved the standard while competing with other business entrants across a variety of sectors, throughout both Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Sean Sheehan, CEO of Wisetek, said: “Wisetek is delighted to requalify for the Platinum Award at Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Awards for another year in 2023. Achieving this award once again, for an eight consecutive year, is evidence of our consistency and our dedication to maintaining high standards across our business. This serves as a testament to the hard work of our employees across our operations. Moving forward, it is our goal to maintain and further exceed our standard of excellence in delivering sustainable IT Asset Disposition & Manufacturing Services worldwide.”
The judging panel of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Awards 2023 is comprised of business experts from across a variety of industries. The judges looked beyond financial performance at areas such as a company’s environmental, social and governance standards, strategic planning and talent strategy, when awarding Ireland’s top privately owned businesses. This year, 130 indigenous companies were recognised at the awards representing 24 of the 32 counties across the island of Ireland as members of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies network, which have a combined turnover of €8.5 billion and employ a total of 53,000 people.
