Meet the Team
Sean Sheehan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wisetek. Sean has over 30 years’ of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry, including Global Corporations EMC & Wang Labs. He is proactively involved in all aspects of operations management including Manufacturing, Warehousing, Reverse Logistics, Rework & Quality. Sean is an advocate of manufacturing Lean Sigma methodologies, is a Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist in 2013, and winner of the Cork Large Company of the Year 2019. Sean holds an MSc. in Professional Practice (Operations Management) and a Diploma in International Selling.
Tom joined Wisetek in 2008 and runs the global operations, delivering lean sigma excellence to the returns supply chain. Prior to joining Wisetek he spent more than 20 years in Global Engineering and Operational Management roles within the Contract Electronic Manufacturing industry. Tom holds a B. Tech in Manufacturing Technology from the University of Limerick.
Paul holds a degree in Business and Accounting from the University of Limerick. With over 20 years financial experience, Paul brings a wealth of financial and managerial expertise which he has gained in various roles across a variety of sectors, operating both nationally and internationally. Previously, Paul was the Group CFO with the Irish Times. Prior to that, he held a number of senior finance roles with Diageo, including Global Sell to Cash Director and Commercial Finance Director for the Nordic Region. He also held a number of senior positions in Hungary and Denmark during his 18 years with the company.
Jim started with Digital Equipment Corporation straight from college and also worked with Wang Laboratories for many years, specialising in Purchasing. He launched ITAD in Wisetek in 2009. He also has vast business experience in the European and Russian markets. Jim holds a Diploma in International Sales from Dublin Institute of Technology. He has held a seat on the R2 Technical Advisory Committee Consensus Body since 2015.
Eugene has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry including engineering and supply chain. He has a track record of managing businesses to profitability, through financial, operational, engineering and technology leadership. In his role as President of Wisetek USA, he oversees the company’s operations in the United States.
Jim O’Hara retired from Intel in 2010 where he was Vice President of their Technology and Manufacturing Group and General manager of Intel Ireland. Jim joined Intel in 1991 as part of the team to create Intel’s first semiconductor facility in Europe. Jim took over as General Manager in 2002 having previously served as Plant Manager. Over the 20-year period Intel invested over €6 billion in expanding leading edge manufacturing facilities and developing a team of thousands of experts in semiconductor manufacturing and engineering.
Former Senior Vice President of EMC Corporation World Wide Manufacturing. Dick has over 40 year’s multi-national experience, including General Electric Corp, Wang labs and EMC. Vast experience in all aspects of Global hi-tech manufacturing and supply base Management. Dick was educated at the North Monastery and received a University Scholarship to UCC, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1968. Throughout his career, Dick continued to upgrade his own business skills, obtaining an MBA from NUI Galway in 1978 and an MSc in Management from IMI/Trinity in 1984.
John Mullins is Executive Chairman of Amarenco. Amarenco is a global solar PV developer and investor headquartered in Cork. Prior to Amarenco, John was Group Chief Executive of Bord Gáis from December 2007 to December 2012. He has also held senior management positions with Greenstar, ESB, ESB International, PWC, and was Chief Executive of Bioverda, part of the NTR plc. Group. He is a Fellow of Engineers of Ireland and the Irish Academy of Engineering. He is a member of the board of the Tyndall National Institute and Chairman of the Port of Cork.
